Claerwen was born and brought up in Mid Wales and educated in London and Switzerland. She now lives in Wiltshire.

Having always loved all forms of art she started to paint 6 yrs ago after closing her interior decoration company. 

She took a few lessons with a group of friends with Vince a wonderful Welsh artist.

He encouraged her to keep going, so she started to travel the world taking her paints with her.
